"After hearing the Audibible™ in Tswana, these people asked when it will be in their own language, Venda. The recording project is in need of funding."

This testimony was recently sent to me and I would like to share it with you.

During a Mountain Bike adventure in the Thule block, Botswana, Southern Africa, we decided to take some Audio Bibles, the Audibible™ with us, just in case we could give them to worthy recipients.

When we came to the border post, it was quiet and the government official on the South African side showed us where to park. We didn’t exactly listen and pulled under a big shade tree instead, which didn’t go over too well. We were sternly “rebuked.”

Before getting too upset, we simply moved the vehicle as instructed and accepted the guard’s strong words about following instructions. My husband then pulled out an Audibible™ and gave it to him.

As we drove away after all the formalities, the guard was sitting under the same tree listening to the Bible.

Audibible™ at the Border Crossing brought a big smile, and a request for more of these "amazing devices."

After a glorious weekend of cycling and giving away the other Audibibles™ we returned and once again encountered THE SAME guard at the border to whom we gave the Audibible™. This time he approached us with a big broad smile that just didn’t go away. His name was Mamba and he had his Pastor with him. They had been waiting for us to ask if we had any more of these amazing devices.

They had listened to it with their congregation on Sunday and wanted to know if it was available in the Venda language. (It isn’t yet, but with the help of generous donors, Davar is hoping to make it available in the immediate future) Even if it wasn’t Venda, they were so excited to hear it in Twsana and English. Imagine the reaction it will be in their own language !

We were just so amazed to see what had happened in such a short period of time and how the Holy Spirit worked in these people’s hearts. We had no clever words. We had no convincing arguments. THE UNCORRUPTED WORD OF GOD DID IT ALL !
