India Scripture Engagement

In response to God's unprecedented work in their midst, local churches in India have set a goal of reaching 20% of their entire population by the year 2020. Lord willing, this means an average of 12 million people will come to faith each year -- but at least 60% of these will be unable to read! To fuel and sustain this massive movement, it is essential that audio Bibles and discipleship materials be distributed so that the people can personally engage the life transforming Word of God.

Our partners in India are so deeply committed to reaching their own communities, and so convinced of the role audio Scriptures must play, that amidst their own financial need they have committed to match $1 for every $2 generated abroad toward audio Scripture devices. DAVAR is partnering with them to raise the additional funding. 

Many lives hang in the balance, and we can make a difference now.

A donation of any size will make a significant difference in so many lives. A gift of $25 or ZAR 200 will enable a church leader to do intensive study of the Scripture, 5 other cell leaders to personally engage with the Bible, an additional 50 church members to have access to the Word of God, and as many as 500 non believers to hear the Gospel. Each contribution impacts scores of lives for eternity.
