Those serving in the field, whether indigenous churches, long-term ministries, or short term outreach teams, need audio resources that enhance the effectiveness of their work. DAVAR works with teams on the ground to assess their needs and connect them with contextualized audio resources and appropriate delivery tools.
DAVAR connects individuals and groups both on and off the "field" who can play a role in reaching the 4 billion non-readers of our world.
DAVAR is developing an information center which will enable individuals and agencies to find the best audio resources for their specific ministry context. Likewise, DAVAR helps connect organizations with funding partners of like vision.
DAVAR actively searches out and facilitates development of versatile, inexpensive audio tools for use in reaching the non-readers of the world.
DAVAR's commitment to enable the maximum number of non-readers to personally engage with the Word of God means that we seek to provide our partners with the most effective technological tools for their specific context. DAVAR promotes the use of quality products from a variety of trusted sources.
When necessary Davar works with technology partners to create new or alternative cost effective tools. For example: DAVAR is partnering with designers and manufacturers to develop a new generation of solar powered audio players, as well as associated software to speed the process of bringing new recordings to the field.
